NEWPELGROUP changes name to NPG Wealth Management

NPG Wealth Management provides sophisticated private client solutions to the wealth management industry

Luxembourg – 30 September 2009 – NEWPELGROUP announces that it will trade under the name NPG Wealth Management (“NPG”). This change follows a period of rapid growth and positions NPG more clearly as a wealth management firm.

The change in name from NEWPELGROUP reflects the substantial evolution of the Luxembourg-based financial services provider in recent years. A series of acquisitions, combined with organic growth, has resulted in a significant increase in the company’s assets under management, products, and distribution capabilities. The name change will take immediate effect.

Tom Fraser, CEO, commented: "The new name underscores our positioning in the market. We want to foster the NPG brand over the long term and, in doing so, increase brand recognition. In addition, NPG is an abbreviation of the old name and thus already familiar to many as such. This means that it also includes a clear reference to our company's history and simplifies the transition."

The change applies solely at the Group level, and should not present any disruption to clients and intermediaries, whose relationships are with the individual companies within the Group.
